The Amazing Meeting 8 starts on July 8th and runs until July 11the in calm sedate Las Vegas, Nevada.  If you have been living under a rock or perhaps just missed the news, TAM is the largest and arguably the most wonderful event for skeptics and rationalist to attend each year.  It is sponsored by the James Randi Educational Foundation, and features speakers such as the Amazing Randi himself, Richard Dawkins, all the Rogues from the SGU, and a large contingent from the Skeptic Zone, the Skepchicks as well as many, many other skeptic podcasts will be in attendance.  I have never been to one, and can only dream of how full of awesome it must be.

Fortunately, SkepReview's own Karl Mamer shall be in attendance, and hopefully at some point will sober up enough to post a few thoughts while or after he is there.

Registration is officially closed online but if you are cool, have some spare money from a barely known but recently deceased aunt who left you a few thousand dollars please hope a plane to Vegas.  You can still register at the door of the South Point Resort and Casino.  You won't regret it, and auntie won't know.  She's dead.

If you bump into Karl while there the secret pass phrase is "I thought you'd be taller."
